Hand holding a Panasonic AC160 handheld camcorder is back

The Panasonic AC160 is back!

Released in 2011, the Panasonic AC160 handheld camcorder is back in rotation at DARC.

Don’t be afraid to get retro! This camera can produce a clear 1080p HD image. What we find the most attractive about this workhorse is its weight! Sitting at approximately 5 lbs, this camcorder is super easy to carry around. In terms of tech: there’s a built-in stereo microphone at the top of the camcorder and a mount for a shotgun microphone. The device features two SD card slots and USB 2.0, HDMI and SDI outputs, making it easy to transfer files and watch your footage on an external monitor.

Needless to say, your recording needs are covered! DARC members can rent this camera for $30 a week.

The talk reflects on art not as a solution, but as a sustained practice of staying with ourselves and each other.
