Notice for after hours booking of the Recording Studio

Effective March 1, 2023, access to DARC facilities after regular business hours (from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am respectively) will be available only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This relates specifically to our Recording booth and Control room. This has been implemented to reduce conflicts with the activities of club SAW, directly below our space.

DARC will continue to serve our member needs while being a cooperative neighbour in the Artscourt building. Outside Mondays and Tuesdays, we cannot guarantee a quiet environment after 6:00 pm.

If you are planning to record over several days, especially after office hours, we ask that you book the Recording Studio three months in advance. This allows for the most accommodation by both centres.

Are you curious about the studio? Want to know what the space can offer you and your project? Stay tuned for monthly member orientations in the new year!
