How to Start a Podcast

It’s 2022, and you may be asking yourself, is it too late to start streaming? Are podcasts 2020? At DARC, we are not over podcasts, and we have all you need to get you a taste of the streaming lifestyle.

The Blue Yeti Yeticaster Mic Set is a user-friendly mic, perfect to start recording with. The USB interface is recognized by most computers right away, so you don’t need a mixer or a specialized input. Although this mic was hugely popular when it came out, critics thought it would be awkward for streaming because it takes up a lot of desk space. But, you don’t have to worry about that because our rental kit includes the Compass Premium Microphone Moom Arm, making it easy to mount to your desktop and leaving your hands free for note-taking in meetings or letting the followers on your twitch stream know your kill count. All DARC members can rent the Blue Yeti Yeticaster Mic Set for $30 a week.

Pair it with the Introduction to Podcast Production or the Live Streaming for Artists online courses on the DARC member portal, and you’re all set to start the vodcast life.

Stay tuned for season 2 of the KNOT Project Space podcast hosted by Marisa Gallemit using this exact microphone.
