This 4-part workshop will introduce you to the concepts and techniques of video editing, from basic theory to the hands-on skills needed to craft an edit from start to finish.
We’ll focus specifically on the DaVinci Resolve edit software – getting familiar with the interface and the tools available, and then diving right into editing. Topics covered include: importing and organizing raw media, building a rough cut, identifying changes needed in the edit, adding titles and music, and exporting the completed edit for delivery.
This is an in-person workshop offered at Digital Arts Resource Centre (67 Nicholas St, Ottawa). To participate in this workshop, all participants must be fully vaccinated and wear a mask while on site at DARC.
