Join us for a 4-part workshop in DaVinci Resolve as we explore video editing as a powerful tool to convey emotions, stories, and ideas. Topics include video editing terminology, workflow, theory and techniques, sound mixing, colour correction, and delivery. In each session, we’ll apply both theory and practice to examine the artistic and technical considerations involved in an edit.
This in-person workshop encourages a collaborative learning environment, allowing you to connect with other participants, exchange ideas, and receive personalized feedback from the instructor. No prior experience is required; this workshop is suitable for beginners and those with limited video editing knowledge. We hope that by the end of this workshop, you’ll have the essential tools, techniques, and workflows necessary to bring your video projects to life.
Participants will need access to:
(Optional) Personal laptop with DaVinci Resolve 18 (download here)
Any additional materials will be sent in advance via email
Please Note: Desktop computers will be provided for participants to use but you may bring your own laptop and receive a discounted workshop rate if you prefer. Workshop time will not permit the instructor to troubleshoot hardware or software issues on your laptop.
