The Digi60 Virtual Speaker Series has brought together and highlighted underrepresented professionals in the Ottawa film, TV, content creation industry, to share their stories, struggles, and triumphs. This series aims to normalize talking about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Ottawa media industry, in a way that’s engaging, fun, yet does not shy away from speaking truth to power. This series is coordinated and produced by Filmmaker Hingman Leung and Digi60’s Director of Womxn’s Industry, Maissa Houri with support of the Digi60 Filmmakers’ Festival and the Digital Arts Resource Centre.
