Digital Arts Resource Centre (DARC) is proud to present Tatum Thompson and Stefan Supplice with the DARC Media Art Production Fund for Fall 2024! DARC’s Media Art Production Fund supports Extended Access DARC members in the creation of independent video and media art projects.
Deena Alsaweer is a Fulbright Scholar with an M.A. in Film/TV from SCAD. She has made significant contributions to the Film & TV industry, including directing ‘Stitches’ for the 2024 Toronto Palestine Film Festival. Deena has worked with various production companies and broadcasters such as TVOKids, CBC, Unis TV, Hallmark, and Bell Fibe TV1 and has edited films including ‘Ayam Zaman’ and ‘Good Nose.’ Her current projects include a documentary on cultural beauty rituals, her debut feature film, and a workplace web series advocating for public libraries. Dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices, Deena continues to champion diversity in the industry.
