Digital Arts Resource Centre is looking for submissions from our membership to be considered for the 2025 edition of RESOLUTION. The following screen-based work may be submitted: digital art, game art, animation, or film/video of any genre (experimental, drama, documentary, music, etc.). The work must be no longer than 30 minutes in duration.
Deadline to submit is November 22, 2024. The final selection of works will be made collectively by an external assessment committee. All applicants will be notified of the results in mid-December 2024.
The screening will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025. This is an in-person event.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK?
Submissions for RESOLUTION 2025 are accepted through AMS. AMS (Arts Management System) is a web-based platform for DARC members and members of the arts community to access DARC’s resources. To submit your work to RESOLUTION 2025, please create an account and log into AMS.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION THROUGH AMS?
Starting an Application:
1. Once you are logged in to AMS you will see the “My Applications” page.
2. On the right hand side click on the “New Application” button.
3. A window will open, you will be prompted to “Select A Campaign”.
4. From the drop down menu select the program you would like to apply for (ex. RESOLUTION 2025).
5. Once selected you will be prompted to give your application a name, this is optional.
6. Select “Start Application” by clicking the blue button at the bottom of the window.
7. You should now see your active applications on the “My Applications” page.
8. Select “Start” to begin your application.
9. A new page titled “Submission Form” will load. Here you can view all of the questions to apply for your specific program.
10. You can save a draft of your application by selecting the “Save Draft” button at the very bottom of the page. This may take a few minutes.
11. To edit a Saved Draft click on the pencil icon under the actions column of the “My Applications” page.
Submitting your Application:
1. To submit your application press the “Complete Form” button at the very bottom of the page. This may take a few minutes.
2. A new window will appear asking if you would like to proceed. Please note, once you complete the form you will no longer be able to make any changes.
3. Press “OK” to continue.
4. You will return to the “My Applications” page. Your application status will now say “Ready for Submission”.
5. You now have the option to delete your application or submit your application. If you delete your application, you can start another.
6. Make sure to press “Submit Application” to apply.
If you have successfully submitted your application, the status of your application should now say “Submitted”. Congratulations!
