All booking requests should now be made through our AMS platform!
We’ve been rolling out our new booking process for a few weeks now, and we’re ready to make the launch official. Going forward, DARC will facilitate all member resource requests (equipment bookings, facility rental, and programming applications) through AMS. Any requests made over email will no longer be fulfilled, and you will instead be redirected to book through the AMS platform. All booking requests should still be made at least 48 hours in advance.
What does that mean for you? Fewer google forms, fewer email chains, and more time with the equipment and tools you need.
What is AMS?
AMS (Arts Management System) is a web-based platform for DARC members to access DARC’s resources. DARC members can log in to book equipment and facilities, register for workshops, and apply for granting and residency opportunities.
When you registered to become a DARC member, we created an AMS account using the email you provided. This is the account that you will need to use moving forward to request equipment and facility rentals from DARC. You can log into your AMS account using the login instructions found on our website.

- Need to renew your membership? You can use this form or contact access@digitalartsresourcecentre.ca – once you have AMS access you can pay your dues online!
- Review all current policies on booking equipment and facilities in your membership agreement
- Remember these are booking requests and still need staff approval – we still need at least 48 hours notice when booking equipment and facilities.
To reduce friction and keep our system streamlined, any emails about resources that can be booked through AMS will receive a lower priority moving forward. Any email requests received after Labour Day will be redirected to the AMS platform to make your request.
