Member Highlight: Meet Oddeline!

Each month, DARC highlights one of our incredible Members and one of the many exciting projects they’re working on. This month, our Member Highlight is Oddeline, a local musician and Extended Access member of DARC.

MEET ODDELINE

Heavily influenced by 60s jazz-folk like Nick Drake and Fairport Convention, with a DIY attitude rooted in a love of early indie bands, Oddeline is a folksinger, songwriter, and producer from Ottawa, Ontario. From recording and performing her original music, to organizing community music events, to producing other artists, Oddeline is carving out a unique path as a young artist and is excited to share new music throughout 2024.

This year, Oddeline is working on a second self-produced EP of new original material. Like her last single, “Little Bull,” many of the songs on the EP will feature string arrangements, in addition to collaborations with her band and friends in the local folk music scene.

As a DARC Member, Oddeline gets access to equipment, facilities, grants, residencies, workshop discounts, and so much more! Want to become a member like Oddeline? Check out our website to get started.

Psst! Want to be featured in our next Member Highlight? Active DARC Members can apply now through the Member Highlight submission form.
