Meet Jason Brennan, director of the film L’inhumain, which will be screening in the DARC Microcinema on April 16th! We sat down with Jason to ask him about the creation of L’inhumain and what it’s like to run his production company, Nish Media.

A rare French-language Indigenous genre film, L’inhumain is the directorial debut of Anishinaabe producer and writer Jason Brennan. It’s a thrilling and evocative parable about the dangers of feeding the monster inside. The film will be presented in a looping screening at the DARC Microcinema for National Canadian Film Day on April 16th, 2025.
