HD-OH-MI! How hard can it be? Live stream and multi-cam set ups.
Overview
Not your uncle’s gear demos! DARC is facilitating low stakes and low barrier access to DARC gear with an informal learning component. These gear orientations are member led and staff supported, focusing on key tools in DARC’s equipment library.
Live events are great, and so are live streamed events! Hybrid events ensure access and documentation of your work to broad and diverse audiences. This demo will overview multi-camera setups, delivery for the web, how important audio is and some basics ins and outs of using switchers. All using DARC’s great workshop and rental equipment.
Leading this is new Extended Access member Graeme Dawson! Graeme’s day job and special interests cover multicam setups at Rogers TV and 32+ input audio mixing at CPAC. As an artist, Graeme’s films have screened at Digi60 and he enjoys taking digital photography in the greater Ottawa area. This is a great opportunity to chat with someone who does this for a living, and ask the questions you might be shy to ask otherwise.
This is an in-person workshop offered at Digital Arts Resource Centre (67 Nicholas St, Ottawa).
