Digital Arts Resource Centre (DARC) offers free membership to uOttawa students registered in the Fine Arts or Communications programs. uOttawa students in other faculties are not eligible for this membership.
WHAT MEMBERSHIP GETS YOU
As Essentials members, students can access DARC’s extensive library of digital art production equipment, including:
- photo and video cameras
- lenses and lens accessories
- tripods and camera support
- lights and light stands
- lighting accessories and gels
- microphones and audio equipment
- sound systems and mixers
- field recorders and monitors
- projectors and projection screens
- grip equipment
- and so much more!
Essentials members can also book sessions in the DARC Microcinema, the Recording Booth, and The Loop collaborative workspace.
HOW TO APPLY
Students seeking this membership must complete the membership application form and provide a timetable of their current semester as proof of enrollment.
