DARC Membership Survey: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Governance.

We need your input! – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at DARC

DARC is developing a DEI strategy to ensure we are creating an equitable and supportive space for diverse artists in Ottawa, specifically for Indigenous. BPOC, and Queer artists.

Though we’ve made a commitment and statement supporting Black and Indigenous lives, as well as prioritizing BPOC, Indigenous and Queer artists when it comes to programming, presentation, and HR, we want to further our commitment by creating clear guidelines for authentically supporting the artists and staff who identify as BPOC, Indigenous and Queer at our organization.

To do this, we’re asking our members (that’s you!) to complete this survey with your reflections on how DARC can strengthen its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through policy, procedure, and bylaw development. Your feedback will help guide two upcoming engagement sessions/consultations and ensure that DARC’s values and practices are rooted in equity and accountability.

This survey is conducted completely anonymously and will be in no way connected to you or your membership at DARC. Please answer all questions honestly and with as much detail as you feel comfortable.

If you wish to also participate in our upcoming engagement/consultation sessions, or have any questions or concerns, please contact education@digitalartsresourcecentre.ca.

Thank you for taking the time to help us better understand and support the diverse community of artists we serve!
