digital arts resource centre CLOSED Sept 30

DARC WILL BE CLOSED SEPT 30

DARC will be closed for the stat holidays on Monday, September 30, and Monday, October 14. The last day for mobile equipment pickups before a brief closure of rentals will be September 27, 2024.

HOLIDAY CLOSURES

During the Thanksgiving Long weekend, Extended Access members can book the Recording Studio* or the Digital Edit Suite for the ‘after-hours’ pricing on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. You must sign out an access card to enter the building on Monday, and first-time bookers will need an after-hours orientation. Please book your keys, days and times by Wednesday, October 9, by 5 pm. First-time bookers must attend an after-hours orientation by Friday, October 11. We can book two members on the same day if time allows, so book early to avoid disappointment.

RENTAL CLOSURES

Equipment rentals will be closed briefly from October 1 – 10 to update the pricing structure in our (soon-to-be public) online booking system. Any bookings made before the closure won’t be impacted, and your invoicing won’t change. Equipment pick-ups will not be impacted outside the rental closure period. We’re re-calculating a day rate to make the maths easier when members request their own gear. This is on the horizon at DARC but won’t happen overnight. Thank you for allowing us to take the time necessary to set it up properly.

Thanks for your understanding!

*We cannot guarantee a quiet environment after 5pm due to Club SAW activities.
