DARC SOUNDSTAGE

DARC is incredibly happy to share a brand new resource available for our members: a video production facility with baffled HVAC, lighting grid, and a digital blue/green screen backdrop. It is approximately 600sq ft with a grid height of 13’. Perfect for small-scale productions with simple builds.  The DARC Soundstage is possible due to our partnership with the University of Ottawa and their Faculty of Arts. The DARC Soundstage is located in the level 00 of the Morisset Building near our friends and neighbours at CHUO.

Some important dates to save:

June 3rd – Check your inbox for our Newsletter with detailed information about it ( including images! )

June 6th – You can contact us to book your projects, tours of the space, ask all the questions.

The DARC Soundstage will host many of our technical workshops and is also the perfect space for your small to mid-scale audiovisual projects.  This project took years in the making, and we are grateful for our staff that took care of each detail from idea to execution. In addition to the University of Ottawa Faculty of Arts, we want to thank the Canadian Heritage Cultural Spaces Fund, the City of Ottawa Cultural Facilities Major Capital Fund, and the Canada Council for the Arts who all supported this project.
