DARC equipment rental, Digital Artist + Expert Digital Artist reopening!

Arts Court (where we are located) has officially opened its doors to the public for the first time since March 2020. As a result, Digital Arts Resource Centre is so excited to announce that we will be reopening our equipment rental program on Wednesday August 18th! In addition, we are also thrilled to open our Digital Artist and Expert Digital Artist memberships for application for the first time this Friday August 13th.

We overhauled our membership options earlier this year and have introduced 5 exciting new membership types: Long DistanceCommunity, Digital ArtistExpert Digital Artist and Supporter! We’d like to reintroduce our Digital Artist and Expert Digital Artist memberships to those interested in equipment access (and all the other fab new perks).

Rental Reopening

A lot has changed since we last saw you IRL! We will be taking our resumption of onsite services slowly but cannot wait to begin supporting our membership again with their artistic pursuits. With the reopening of our rentals it is important to note:

  • We are doing curb-side rentals only
  • Make your rental request through DARC’s member portal
  • Members must adhere to our COVID 19 Rental Policy while onsite
  • DARC facility spaces (including our main office area) are not open to members, no walkins are permitted at this time
  • DARC’s equipment catalogue has been divided into 3 libraries: Digital Tool Kit, Foundations and Expert. Access to the libraries depends on your membership type

We invite you to review our new membership options and equipment libraries. You can begin your membership process online today! If you have any questions about which options will work best for you, please feel free to reach out to operations@digitalartsresourcecentre.ca. See you online and at the centre soon!
