Candide Uyanze is an award-winning digital media producer, designer, and researcher passionate about accessible and open source storytelling. She is based in Anishinābe Akì territory.

Candide was recently selected to participate in project WARP, a paid learning and mentorship opportunity co-produced and co-facilitated by a consortium of DIY music and arts organizations in the Algonquin-Anishnaabe territory. Through WARP, she will coordinate a collaborative educational workshop and showcase opportunity using open-source platforms for media artists in the region. 💻🌀

Intro to Electronic Music Production

Intro to Electronic Music Production explores the basics of electronic music production using the digital audio workstation Ableton Live. Participants will learn how to navigate the interface, select and manipulate sounds and samples, understand fundamental audio effects, and create a short electronic music piece using MIDI. Ableton Live will be available at each workstation, with shared access to MIDI controllers for hands-on experimentation.
