Overview
Interested in learning more about our ARRI ALEXA SXT-EV? Join us for a free info session led by Ottawa-based cinematographer Gaganpreet Singh.
The ARRI ALEXA SXT-EV is a cinema grade camera that can shoot up to 120 frames per second in ProRes or RAW in 4K (aka 3.2K) in anamorphic, open gate, 4:3, or 16:9 modes. ARRI cameras rank highly on successful features at Cannes and other tour de force film festivals.
In this info session, we’ll explore the basics of the SXT-EV body, key functions, assembly, and set up, before getting into formats and data management. We’ll also talk about DARC’s ARRI rental package and hear from DARC members as they discuss the projects they have created using the ARRI. Participants will be invited to take part in an interactive demo and will have an opportunity to explore the functions of the SXT-EV.
This info session serves as an introduction to DARC’s upcoming ARRI production workshop in May.
Please note that only DARC Extended Access members can book the ARRI ALEXA SXT-EV after completing the ARRI production workshop.
